Panoramic pool...

Our pool was built in 1964, date of the official opening of the Monte Carlo Hotel.

It is situated on the top floor and has stunning views over Funchal, the mountains and the Atlantic Ocean making it panoramic and ideal for relaxing at any time of day..

Has a support bar in a "Mushroom" shape, original of 1964 and fully restored with direct telephone line to the reception, to the snack bar and to the rooms of the Hotel, as well as bar service provided at the pool.

Sun loungers, parasols guards, chairs, pillows and towels are available free of charge at the pool.

During the festivities of New Year and Christmas lights, our panoramic swimming pool is elected one of the best places for viewing the Fireworks celebrations on New Year's Eve with Champagne service.

The rooms over the pool have this magnificent view and balcony, if you prefer to stay in one of these sea view rooms, please mention through your booking.

Gardens...

Both at the entrance, terrace and at the access to the pool of the Hotel Monte Carlo, you can find small gardens and flower beds, filled with samples of the Flora of Madeira, as well as some trees and endogenous species of Madeira (sica, banana, Surinam cherry, etc. ..) recreating the spirit of the mansion that gave rise to the Hotel Monte Carlo and also giving a tonic of variety and natural colors, typical of the Madeira Island, during your stay at Hotel Monte Carlo.
